New program offers free blending valves to Middleton residents

Home / News & Resources / Blog / New program offers free blending valves to Middleton residents

Opportunity to test a water softener blending valve and get it free!

Our District has partnered with the City of Middleton on a program to reduce salt from water softeners. We are looking for Middleton residents to help test blending valves, plumbing devices that adjust the level of hardness in your home’s water. By installing a blending valve on your water softener as part of this free program, you’ll reduce the water you soften, saving you salt and helping protect downstream waters from excessive chloride.
