The Dane County Landfill and Clean Sweep offer waste disposal for large items, electronics, paints, household chemicals and more. Medicines and pharmaceuticals can be disposed at local MedDrop stations.

Funding for salt reduction in Multi-Units

Commercial & industrial water softener rebate
Multi-unit residential facilities serving three or more units may be eligible for significant savings on projects that reduce salt in water softeners.

Chloride reduction incentives and grants
Properties responsible for larger-scale winter maintenance can apply for road salt reduction grants or chloride reduction innovation grants that result in reductions of chloride to the sewer system.
